Notes on registration updates
This facility allows you to register a new revision of your work as part of your existing registration. Securing evidence of date and content of the updated work, whilst still retaining the original registration date and evidence for your existing work.
Your existing registration date, registration duration and expiry date will remain the same. Updates processed using this form are linked with your existing registration. For more information on registration updates, please see our fact sheet P-17: Updating copyright registrations.
Only use the update facility to modify or add to an item already registered. Updates cannot be used to register new and unrelated work. Please use the standard registration facility for any new work.
